Adjusting a Menu

Our menus have been designed for 19-50 year old males and females with sedentary to moderate physical activity levels. Each day provides approximately: 5 to 6 serves of Vegetables; 2 serves of Fruit; 6 serves of Cereals/Grains; 2 to 3 serves of Meat or Meat Alternatives; and 2.5 serves of Dairy products. All menu plans are high in fibre, low in saturated fat, low in added sugars and contain minimal or no added salt. For a pictorial representation of food group serves, see our Serves page.

You may need to adjust the amount or type of food for yourself or your family depending on each individual’s age, gender, level of physical activity, and individual health issues which may mean a person has special dietary needs.
