Avocado Wonton Cups

  • 1 packet wonton wrappers
  • spray oil
  • 1 large ripe avocado mashed
  • 100 grams reduced fat cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 tablespoon basil leaves finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chives or red onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


  1. Preheat oven to 180 ºC
  2. Take a mini muffin pan and press a fresh wonton wrapper so that it lines the base and sides
  3. Spray lightly with oil and bake for 15 minutes until crisp and golden
  4. Meanwhile, make filling by mixing avocado, cream cheese, sweet chilli sauce, basil, chives and lemon juice until well combined
  5. Once wonton cups have cooked and cooled, use a teaspoon to fill them with the avocado mixture
  6. Chill in the refridgerator until ready to serve

For added presentation, top with a small slice of cherry tomato, smoked salmon or fresh herbs
